the + convention

n+

The + suffix is the most efficient way to express human-AI partnership in language. One character, universally understood, already loaded with meaning: more, enhanced, evolved, additive.

me+ means me, plus everything AI gives me — not replaced, augmented. I+ is the first-person declaration of it. n+ is the identity built on it. The pattern scales to anything: team+, doc+, draft+. No jargon, no acronyms, no explanation needed. A five-year-old understands what + means.

This will become the default convention because it mirrors how people actually experience AI — not as a replacement but as an addition to what they already are. The same way C became C++ and every streaming platform added + to signal “this, but more,” people will + themselves. It’s not a brand. It’s a suffix. And suffixes win because they attach to any identity without erasing it.
